Staying at our home in Northern Greece the feeling of summer has disappeared in the last few days. Dark Clouds are conquering more and more space of the sky. Still I am packing my backpack every day with my towel, swimming goggles, and a book (Hemingway’s short stories, to be precise). I walk a mall, sometimes muddy path for maybe half an hour to the near beach, where people seemed to have disappeared. Then I swim. Maybe half an hour. It’s cool and fresh and the entry to another sphere, another state of being.
Thanks for getting back to me might have to get out next year and September sounds like a great time.

Really depending on the region. It can be rainy and melancholic. My favorite time is autumn (September/October). A lot less people and the sea still warm enough to swim
