I am a journalist, living in Cologne, Germany. I've been interested in photography from the days, my father brought home the Time-Life photography books with all their grandeur of war, decay and beauty. And I loved the smell of the photo developer and fixer when I tried to imitate the pictures I'd seen there before. Not to mention my all-time preference for films with strong visual impact, which interested me much more than films with a strong story. What a bliss, when both components came together, as in "Blade Runner", to name just one.
